The ECL-Series enclosures provide an effective solution for protecting laboratory personnel
from the risk of inhalation of harmful volatile chemical substances generated by automatic or semi-automatic
instruments that do not require the constant presence of an operator.

Designed to operate in total exhaust mode, they can be connected to the extraction system
according to different configurations, depending on plant requirements. They represent a
versatile and cost-effective alternative to traditional laboratory fume hoods.

The primary function of the Serie-ECL enclosures is to ensure negative pressure within the working volume,
preventing the release and accumulation of contaminants inside the laboratory, particularly when bench-top instruments are used.

Available in 4 width options and 3 depth options, they can be assembled on-site,
allowing easy adaptation to any environment. Access to the working chamber is provided by
horizontal sliding panels. All models can be supplied with a dedicated support base
or installed on existing benches.

Standard equipment:

  • Horizontal sliding panels mounted on a carriage equipped with bearings
  • No. 1 duct connection collar to ventilation system Ø 250 mm (optional multiple Ø 200 mm / Ø 160 mm)
  • Pre-assembled structure (sides, rear panel, top) to reduce installation time
  • Upper side panels in 3+3 PVB laminated glass and lower panels in transparent polymer (easy creation of tubing/cable pass-throughs without disassembly)
  • Upper front panels in 3+3 PVB laminated glass for improved internal visibility
  • Low airflow alarm with acoustic and visual signal
  • Internal LED lighting IP65 with dedicated on/off push button
  • No. 2 rubber grommets Ø64 mm useful diameter on rear panel

Structure and materials:

  • Mainframe made of aluminum profiles and steel sheets coated with acid-resistant full-epoxy coating with antimicrobial formulation
  • Transparent surfaces (side and upper front) in 3+3 PVB laminated glass
  • Transparent lower side panels in PVC, 5mm thickness
  • Front sliding panels in tempered glass, 6mm thickness
